How soon can I get an appointment?

I’ll offer the earliest suitable time available.

Counselling & Sessions

What issues can counselling help with?

Counselling can support anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, burnout, and repeating patterns that no longer serve.

How do sessions work?

Sessions are thoughtful, collaborative, and paced to your needs. We explore what is happening now, what may be shaping it, and how change can occur.

What if I get overwhelmed or cry in a session?

Strong feelings can arise in therapy. We can slow down, pause, and work at a pace that feels manageable.

Does coming to therapy mean something is wrong with me?

Not at all. Many people come to therapy because they want things to feel different.

What is trauma-informed counselling?

Trauma-informed counselling recognises that many current struggles are linked to painful past experiences and prioritises safety, respect, and healing. Check here for how I can help.

Is counselling confidential?

Yes. What you share in counselling is treated with care and confidentiality, with a small number of legal exceptions that will be explained clearly.
